We are located at the Coast Guard base at the Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM). To get to NAVCEN, once you are on the base, continue down the main road straight. We are the last brick building on the right.

From Richmond, VA go North on Interstate 95. Take exit 166 (Newington, Fairfax County Parkway) and go South on the Fairfax County Parkway. Take the Telegraph Road exit and turn left at the light after exiting. Continue on Telegraph Road for a few miles. You will pass the Telegraph Road entrance to Fort Belvoir, and then about 1/2 a mile later, Hayfield High School. TISCOM will be 2 blocks away on your right after you pass Hayfield High School.

From DC/Maryland, onInterstate 95/495, take Exit 176A (Telegraph Road), Rte 611 South. TISCOM is approximately five miles and will be on your left.

Directions to the Navigation Center Detachment in Petaluma, CA

Take Highway 101 to Petaluma, which is located about 30 miles North of San Francisco. Take the East Washington Street exit. Head west on East Washington Street about 10 miles to Tomales Road. Note: East Washington Street becomes Bodega Avenue after it passes through Petaluma. A sign is posted at the intersection of Bodega Avenue and Tomales Road with the words "Coast Guard Training Center" and an arrow indicating the correct direction. Turn left on Tomales Road. Proceed about one mile to a flashing amber light. Turn left (at the light) into the Training Center entrance. Report to the Training Center Police Department just inside the main gate to register your car, ask questions and to receive directions to NAVCEN's western operations division.
